Education in Adur is the responsibility of West Sussex County Council. The district has been represented by six councillors, three from the Conservative Party and three from UKIP, for the past four years, but the entire council is up for election on Thursday, 4 May.
We thought it would be helpful to ask the candidates their views on a range of topics related to the provision of school places in Adur. The responses are below.
We sent each party a standard set of questions and their responses are below.
Conservative Party
Keith Boram, prospective councillor, Shoreham South
Green Party
Leslie Groves Williams, prospective councillor, Sompting and North Lancing
Andrew Bradbury, prospective councillor, Shoreham South
We received another response from Paul Hendy, prospective councillor, Lancing, but unfortunately after the cut off date for responses so we cannot publish.
Labour Party
Steve Gilbert, prospective councillor, Shoreham South.
Liberal Democrats
UKIP
Geoff Patmore, prospective councillor, UKIP_responses to FAST
